Structure of the Carbohydrate Amylose

Under development!!!

Carbohydrate Metabolism is a collection of metabolic processes responsible for the formation, breakdown, and interconversion of carbohydrates in living organisms. It includes, Carbon Fixation, The Citric Acid Cycle, Glycolysis, Glycogenesis, Gluconeogenesis, and Oxidative Phosphorylation.

Glycolysis

Step 1: Hexokinase:

Step 2: Phosphoglucose isomerase

Step 3: Phosphofructokinase

Step 4: Aldolase

Step 5: Triose Phosphate Isomerase

Step 6: Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate Dehydrogenase

Step 7: Phosphoglycerate kinase

Step 8: Phosphoglycerate mutase

Step 9: Phosphopyruvate hydratase (enolase)

Step 10: Pyruvate kinase
