Example of the Simple Redox Reaction Catalyzed by Oxidoreductases

Oxidoreductases are enzymes that catalyze oxidation/reduction reactions by transferring electrons, hydrogens, or oxygens from a reductant molecule to an oxidant molecule. They are classified as EC 1 under the EC number classification.
