NADPH dehydrogenase

Function

NADPH dehydrogenase or old yellow enzyme or NADH:flavin oxidoreductase/NADH oxidase or prostaglandin F2A synthase or chromate reductase (OYE) catalyzes the conversion of NADPH, H+ and acceptor to NADP+ and reduced acceptor[1]. See NAD(P)H. The acceptor is a quinone. OYE is a flavoenzyme with two cofactors: FAD and FMN. NADPH dehydrogenase quinone 1 (NQO1) reduces quinones to hydroquinones.
