Poliovirus receptor-related protein

Function Poliovirus receptor-related protein (PVRP) or Nectin are membrane glycoproteins belonging to the immunoglobulin family. PVRP-1 mediates Ca+2-independent cell adhesion. PVRP-2 and PVRP-3 are components of the adherens junction. PVRP-4 binds PVRP-1. Relevance PVRP-4 is involved in tumor cell migration. Structural highlights . (PDB code 4myw)
