Structural highlights

2eqr is a 1 chain structure with sequence from Human. Full experimental information is available from OCA. For a guided tour on the structure components use FirstGlance.
Gene:NCOR1 (HUMAN)
Resources:FirstGlance, OCA, PDBe, RCSB, PDBsum, TOPSAN

Function

[NCOR1_HUMAN] Mediates transcriptional repression by certain nuclear receptors. Part of a complex which promotes histone deacetylation and the formation of repressive chromatin structures which may impede the access of basal transcription factors.[1]

Evolutionary Conservation

Check, as determined by ConSurfDB. You may read the explanation of the method and the full data available from ConSurf.
