Death-associated protein (DAP) is associated with multiple cellular functions. DAP6 or DAXX interacts with apoptosis antigen. It has both pro- and anti-apoptosis functions. DAP5 is an inhibitor of translational initiation in differentiation and apoptosis. For more details on DAP5 see Death Associated Protein 5.
