Structural highlights

4mup is a 3 chain structure with sequence from Agrobacterium fabrum str. C58. Full crystallographic information is available from OCA. For a guided tour on the structure components use FirstGlance.
Method:X-ray diffraction, Resolution 1.6Å
Resources:FirstGlance, OCA, PDBe, RCSB, PDBsum, ProSAT

Function

GLI_AGRFC Catalyzes the isomerization of D-galactaro-1,5-lactone to D-galactaro-1,4-lactone. This is a step in the oxidative degradation pathway of D-galacturonate, which allows A.tumefaciens to utilize D-galacturonate as a sole carbon source.[1]
