Structural highlights

1vek is a 1 chain structure with sequence from Arath. Full experimental information is available from OCA. For a guided tour on the structure components use FirstGlance.
Gene:Arabidopsis thaliana genomic DNA, chromosome 3, TAC clone: K10D20 (ARATH)
Resources:FirstGlance, OCA, PDBe, RCSB, PDBsum, ProSAT, TOPSAN

Function

[UBP14_ARATH] Recognizes and hydrolyzes the peptide bond at the C-terminal Gly of ubiquitin. Involved in the processing of poly-ubiquitin precursors as well as that of ubiquitinated proteins. Involved in seed and embryo development.[1] [2]

Evolutionary Conservation

Check, as determined by ConSurfDB. You may read the explanation of the method and the full data available from ConSurf.
