Structural highlights

2rtz is a 1 chain structure with sequence from Mesobuthus martensii. Full experimental information is available from OCA. For a guided tour on the structure components use FirstGlance.
Method:Solution NMR, 20 models
Resources:FirstGlance, OCA, PDBe, RCSB, PDBsum, ProSAT

Function

KA261_MESMA Recombinant toxin that reversibly inhibits the potassium current of mKv1.3/KCNA3 channel stably expressed in COS7 cells (IC(50)=150 nM) (PubMed:17624312). Also shows a weak inhibition on Kv1.2/KCNA2, Kv1.3/KCNA3 and TRPV1 channels (PubMed:29483648).[1] [2]
