Sites of Methylation by Methyltransferases on DNA

Transferases are enzymes which catalyze the transfer of a functional group (E.g. Acetyl, Amino, Methyl, Phosporyl groups etc.) from one a donor molecule to a receptor molecule. They are classified as EC 2 under the EC number classification.
