are molecules that reside in the body solely for the purpose of fighting off bacteria, viruses and other harmful things. The antibodies will float along in the blood stream examining everything they touch in order to find the harmful objects. When bacteria or viruses are found, the antibody will bind to it. With enough antibodies bound to the harmful object, it will be unable to wreck havoc within the body.
