SMART Teams (Students Modeling a Research Topic) is a student outreach program run by the MSOE Center for BioMolecular Modeling, in which students work with a researcher to create 3D printed physical models of a protein structure. Below is a summary of the 2016-17 Brown Deer High School SMART Team project, focused on the potassium channel protein.
