Ribosomal protein S29

Function

Ribosomal protein S29 (RPS29 in eukaryotes/archaea) also known as death-associated protein 3 (DAP3) is one of the ca. 33 proteins which belong to the small 40S subunit of the eukaryotic ribosome[1].

Relevance

There is low content of RPS29 in ribosomes of lung cancer cells[2].
