Function

CAPP1_ARATH Through the carboxylation of phosphoenolpyruvate (PEP) it forms oxaloacetate, a four-carbon dicarboxylic acid source for the tricarboxylic acid cycle. Contributes probably to the adaptation to inorganic phosphate (Pi) deprivation.[1]
