Function

GFPPS_MYCTU Catalyzes the sequential condensations of isopentenyl pyrophosphate (IPP) with dimethylallyl diphosphate (DMAPP) to yield geranyl diphosphate (GPP) and with GPP to yield (2E,6E)-farnesyl diphosphate (E,E-FPP).[1]
