Function

MCAPS_TYYVF Minor component of the viral capsid involved in aphid transmission and virus accumulation in the host (PubMed:7882968, PubMed:20416918, PubMed:26402374, PubMed:10627524). Required for the virus to move through the aphid (By similarity). The RTD domain of the protein is exposed on the surface of the particle and determines the vector specificity and intestinal tropism in the aphid (PubMed:7882968).[UniProtKB:P09516][1] [2] [3] [4]
