Structural highlights

1ypf is a 2 chain structure with sequence from Bacillus anthracis. Full crystallographic information is available from OCA. For a guided tour on the structure components use FirstGlance.
Method:X-ray diffraction, Resolution 1.8Å
Resources:FirstGlance, OCA, PDBe, RCSB, PDBsum, ProSAT

Function

GUAC_BACAN Catalyzes the irreversible NADPH-dependent deamination of GMP to IMP. It functions in the conversion of nucleobase, nucleoside and nucleotide derivatives of G to A nucleotides, and in maintaining the intracellular balance of A and G nucleotides (By similarity).
