Structural highlights

1su0 is a 1 chain structure with sequence from Streptococcus pyogenes. Full crystallographic information is available from OCA. For a guided tour on the structure components use FirstGlance.
Method:X-ray diffraction, Resolution 2.3Å
Ligands:
Resources:FirstGlance, OCA, PDBe, RCSB, PDBsum, ProSAT, TOPSAN

Function

ISCU_STRP1 A scaffold on which IscS assembles Fe-S clusters. Subsequently gives the nascent cluster to other proteins. It is likely that Fe-S cluster coordination is flexible as the role of this complex is to build and then hand off Fe-S clusters (By similarity).

Evolutionary Conservation

Check, as determined by ConSurfDB. You may read the explanation of the method and the full data available from ConSurf.
