Function

MSHB_MYCTU Catalyzes the deacetylation of 1D-myo-inositol 2-acetamido-2-deoxy-alpha-D-glucopyranoside (GlcNAc-Ins) in the mycothiol (MSH) biosynthesis pathway. Shows some amidase activity toward S-conjugates of mycothiol.[1]
