Function

FER_PLAF7 Ferredoxins are iron-sulfur proteins that transfer electrons in a wide variety of metabolic reactions (PubMed:16289098). By transferring electrons to 4-hydroxy-3-methylbut-2-enyl diphosphate reductase LytB/IspH, plays a role in the terminal step of the DOXP/MEP pathway for isoprenoid precursor biosynthesis (PubMed:16289098).[1]
