Function

WHY1_SOLTU Single-stranded DNA-binding protein that acts as a transcriptional activator of the pathogenesis-related gene PR-10a. Upon elicitation, binds a 30bp promoter sequence known as elicitor element response (ERE) and is required for PR-10a expression.[1] [2] [3]
