CRYSTAL STRUCTURE OF THE ESCHERICHIA COLI ARSENITE-TRANSLOCATING ATPASECRYSTAL STRUCTURE OF THE ESCHERICHIA COLI ARSENITE-TRANSLOCATING ATPASE

Structural highlights

1f48 is a 1 chain structure with sequence from Escherichia coli. Full crystallographic information is available from OCA. For a guided tour on the structure components use FirstGlance.
Method:X-ray diffraction, Resolution 2.3Å
Ligands:, , , , ,
Resources:FirstGlance, OCA, PDBe, RCSB, PDBsum, ProSAT

Function

ARSA1_ECOLX Anion-transporting ATPase. Catalyzes the extrusion of the oxyanions arsenite, antimonite and arsenate. Maintenance of a low intracellular concentration of oxyanion produces resistance to the toxic agents.

Evolutionary Conservation

Check, as determined by ConSurfDB. You may read the explanation of the method and the full data available from ConSurf.
