CATALYTIC DOMAIN OF BACTERIOPHAGE HP1 INTEGRASECATALYTIC DOMAIN OF BACTERIOPHAGE HP1 INTEGRASE

Structural highlights

1aih is a 4 chain structure with sequence from Haemophilus virus HP1. Full crystallographic information is available from OCA. For a guided tour on the structure components use FirstGlance.
Method:X-ray diffraction, Resolution 2.5Å
Ligands:,
Resources:FirstGlance, OCA, PDBe, RCSB, PDBsum, ProSAT

Function

VINT_BPHC1 Integrase is necessary for integration of the phage into the host genome by site-specific recombination. In conjunction with excisionase, integrase is also necessary for excision of the prophage from the host genome.
