Function

[KMO_PSEFL] Catalyzes the hydroxylation of L-kynurenine (L-Kyn) to form 3-hydroxy-L-kynurenine (L-3OHKyn). Probably required for the synthesis of quinolinic acid and the siderophore quinolobactin.
