Pheromone binding protein
IntroductionIntroduction
Pheromone binding proteins are soluble proteins invovled in the early stages of pheromone detection. Pheromone-binding protein [1] of the honeybee Apis mellifera L. (Hymenoptera: Apidea) was first isolated and charecterised by Danty et al. (1998)[1] from the bee antennae. or to the article describing Jmol [2] to the rescue. Structure3bfa is a 1 chain structure with sequence from Apis mellifera. Full crystallographic information is available from OCA. You can make your own scenes on SAT starting from scratch or loading and editing one of these sample scenes.
