Proteopedia:BAMBED
In April 2010 Proteopedia and the BAMBED (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Education) Journal began a collaboration to publish high-quality Proteopedia articles in BAMBED as features in the BAMBED section titled 'Multimedia in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Education', following peer-review[1]. The citable publication in BAMBED will be attributed to the authors of the published Proteopedia article. Proteopedia was described in BAMBEd in September, 2010[2].
Nominations for submission to BAMBEDNominations for submission to BAMBED
High-quality and informative Proteopedia articles reviewing a particular protein or concept can be nominated for submission to BAMBED. Nominated pages should meld descriptive text with illustrative green scene links to bring the reader to a deep understanding of the topic and any relevant structure/function relationships that can be detailed.
Nominations may be made to , or alternatively contact any member of the Proteopedia Team.
Successful nominationsSuccessful nominations
Successful nominations will require the author(s) of the Proteopedia article to submit their article via the BAMBED online submission form. The authors should include an abstract, the URL to the page, and one color figure representative of the Proteopedia article. The 'manuscript type' should be "Multimedia in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Education", and they should identify the submission as for a special issue titled 'Proteopedia'.
The Proteopedia article must be in the main namespace of the Proteopedia site (e.g. not on a user-page).
