[PABC_ECOLI] Involved in the biosynthesis of p-aminobenzoate (PABA), a precursor of tetrahydrofolate. Converts 4-amino-4-deoxychorismate into 4-aminobenzoate (PABA) and pyruvate.[1] [2]
