Proteopedia is a free and collaborative, 3D encyclopedia of proteins, RNA, DNA, and their assemblies and interacting small molecules with emphasis on three-dimensional structure where relevant to function.

To collect and disseminate structural biological and biological knowledge about proteins, RNA, DNA, and their assemblies and interacting small molecules in a manner that is relevant and accessible to scientists of all the biological and chemical fields.

To continue to develop the concept of tying text to three-dimensional, interactive images.
