Structural highlights

5mpv is a 1 chain structure. Full crystallographic information is available from OCA. For a guided tour on the structure components use FirstGlance.
Activity:Chorismate mutase, with EC number 5.4.99.5
Resources:FirstGlance, OCA, PDBe, RCSB, PDBsum, ProSAT

Function

[CHMU_MYCTU] Catalyzes the Claisen rearrangement of chorismate to prephenate. Probably involved in the aromatic amino acid biosynthesis.[1] [2] [3]
