Crystal structure of the nucleotide-binding domain of Ras-related GTP-binding protein CCrystal structure of the nucleotide-binding domain of Ras-related GTP-binding protein C

Structural highlights

3llu is a 1 chain structure with sequence from Human. Full crystallographic information is available from OCA. For a guided tour on the structure components use FirstGlance.

Function

[RRAGC_HUMAN] Guanine nucleotide-binding protein forming heterodimeric Rag complexes required for the amino acid-induced relocalization of mTORC1 to the lysosomes and its subsequent activation by the GTPase RHEB. This is a crucial step in the activation of the TOR signaling cascade by amino acids.[1]

Evolutionary Conservation

Check, as determined by ConSurfDB. You may read the explanation of the method and the full data available from ConSurf.
