Ligases are enzymes that catalyze the formation of a chemical bond between two large molecules. They are classified as EC 6 under the EC number classification.
Articles in Proteopedia concerning Ligases include:
- Adenylosuccinate Synthetase
- Biotin Protein Ligase
- DNA Ligase bound to Nicked DNA
- Pyrrolysyl-tRNA Synthetase
- T4 RNA ligase 2 (Rnl2)
