The Pages needing improvement page is a list of existing topic pages that users and the Proteopedia team would like to see improved in Proteopedia.
In most cases, these are great pages that we would just like to see made better. We aren't looking to remove content from Proteopedia; however, it sometimes will need to be reorganized. Sometimes this would involve breaking up the page to smaller topics to better feature the Proteopedia-specific features, mainly the 3D scenes, and more quickly give visitors to the topic page an overview of the structure and function of that protein, nucleic acid, or complex. Sometimes just simple rearrangement would suffice. Also it will be best to try to contact the primary author or authors to include them in this process, particularly if the reorganization involves creating new pages where their content will be featured. It would be preferable for the author(s) to still be listed as contributors. Please use the e-mail link on the left side of each users page to facilitate contact. For organizing thoughts and approaches, we found e-mail is definitely helpful, but that establishing a Google Wave and/or using the discussion page associated with each Proteopedia page can be very useful for collaboration.
You may add to this list the page you dream of seeing improved in Proteopedia, but it would be even better if you helped improved some of these pages.
