Cytocrhome c 7 (CcP7) is a cytochrome c peroxidase found in Saccharomyces cerevisiae <ref>DOI: 10.2210/pdb1ml2/pdb</ref> (commonly known as Baker's Yeast). Cytochrome c 7 is a mitochondrial intermembrane space protein and it is thought to keep the organism from undergoing cell death from high concentrations of hydrogen peroxide by converting this toxic compound into water <ref>DOI: 10.1016/S0022-2836(03)00179-7</ref>.
