Human CTP synthetase 2 - glutaminase domain in complex with 5-OXO-L- NORLEUCINEHuman CTP synthetase 2 - glutaminase domain in complex with 5-OXO-L- NORLEUCINE

Structural highlights

2v4u is a 1 chain structure with sequence from Homo sapiens. Full crystallographic information is available from OCA. For a guided tour on the structure components use FirstGlance.
Method:X-ray diffraction, Resolution 2.3Å
Ligands:
Resources:FirstGlance, OCA, PDBe, RCSB, PDBsum, ProSAT

Function

PYRG2_HUMAN Catalyzes the ATP-dependent amination of UTP to CTP with either L-glutamine or ammonia as the source of nitrogen. Constitutes the rate-limiting enzyme in the synthesis of cytosine nucleotides.[1] [2]

Evolutionary Conservation

Check, as determined by ConSurfDB. You may read the explanation of the method and the full data available from ConSurf.
