FunctionFactor XIII (FXIII) belongs to the blood coagulation system and crosslinks fibrin resulting in an insoluble clot. FXIII is activated by thrombin which cleaves it and releases an activation peptide[1]. DiseaseFXIII deficiency causes internal bleeding. |
