==Trypsin==
Trypsin is an enzyme that breaks down protein, that is produced in the pancreas and then secreted in to the small intestines. It is a homolog of chymotrypsin and it works by cleaving at the peptide bond after residues with long, positively charged side chains. An aspartate residue which attracts and stabilizes a positively charged arginine or lysine residue in the substrate. The disease of cystic fibrosis is the result of deficiency in transport of trypsin and other digestive enzymes from the pancreas.
==Structure==
This is the protein Trypsin,it has <scene name='Sandbox21/Trypsin_alpha_helix/1'>alpha helices</scene> (shown in red) and also <scene name='Sandbox21/Trypsin_beta_sheets/1'>beta sheets</scene> (shown in blue), also the <scene name='Sandbox21/Trypsin_hydrophobic/1'>amphipathic</scene> parts of Trypsin are found throught out the molecule.
