Structural highlights
FunctionGNE_PLESH Catalyzes the epimerization of UDP-N-acetylglucosamine (UDP-GlcNAc) to UDP-N-acetylgalactosamine (UDP-GalNAc). Has very low epimerase activity with UDP-Glc and UDP-Gal.
