During the host liver stage, regulates the initial invasion of host hepatocytes by sporozoites by regulating sporozoite motility and microneme exocytosis (By similarity). Following parasite development in the hepatocytes, required for the release of merosomes, a vesicle containing the mature merozoites (By similarity).
