Mark Hoelzer earned his B.F.A. from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design with a major in Illustration and a Minor in Painting. After graduation, he took a position as the lead model designer, animator, Jmol tutorial creator, illustrator, and graphic designer for the Center for BioMolecular Modeling at the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
