Ribosomal protein S14
FunctionRibosomal protein S14 (RPS14) is one of the 21 proteins which belong to the 30S of the bacterial ribosome or the 30 proteins which belong to the 40S small subunit of the eukaryotic ribosome. It is involved in determining the conformation of 16S RRNA at the A-site[1]. RelevanceRPS14 may negatively regulate p53 citation in acute myeloid leukemia[2].
