Ferripyoverdine receptor

Function

Ferripyoverdine receptor (Fpv) is an outer-membrane receptor of Pseudomonas aeruginosa which uptakes the pyoverdine-Fe+3 siderophore secreted by the bacteria under conditions of iron limitation to scavange Fe+3[1].
