Function

QSEG_ECO57 Involved in the regulation of virulence and metabolism in EHEC. Required for pedestal formation in host epithelial cells during infection. Necessary for translocation of effector molecules into host epithelial cells, but is not involved in structural assembly of the type III secretion system (TTSS).[1] [2]
